My full name is actually Colin John Conrad Cunningham, but I work under my middle names of John Conrad. I do this for one reason only, I believe the name is more memorable for my customers and to be honest, it is easier to fit on the jewellery boxes.
Care is what I give every piece of jewellery during the crafting process. Pride is what I get seeing my customers wear my jewellery.
I have always enjoyed exploring my passion for the creative arts having previously trained as a joiner. Designing, cutting the timbers, assembling and finishing each timber item to the highest standard possible filled me with great pride.
It is that same pride I now put into every piece of hand crafted jewellery I produce.
Having exceptionally enjoyed using timber in my creations I often wondered what other materials I could use. So a few years ago I enrolled on a course in basic silversmithing and I haven’t looked back since.
Although crafting jewellery from Sterling Silver alone can produce stunning pieces, I have found that incorporating grade A natural semi precious stones or exotic hardwood into my creations brings the natural purity of the earth into each piece which cannot be achieved from imitations.
The enjoyment I get from crafting each piece of jewellery with the care and precision of a surgeon can only be rivalled by the pride I get from seeing the enjoyment my customers get from wearing them.
