Sleeping Dragon Jewellery

Hi I am Wallace Making my own mounts (settings), I then do the setting of the stones in my own pieces using traditional techniques. I do enjoy giving a fresh look to old rings too and enjoy the challenge of awakening something that fell asleep. My work follows a code of practice set out by the British Jewellers Association, of which I am member 54507. I am also a member of the Guild of Jewellers and hold Professional Indemnity Insurance. I have a small workshop that has the basic tools to help me make the pieces you see on my site. All my work, even under regulatory weight where possible, is sent off to London Assay office. All my knowledge and skills have been gained mostly as a result of getting involved in working with metal, reading books, specialist forums, watching some videos - if you have some time and would like a little giggle, Google, Arthur Ganson, Nancy L T Hamilton - (wonderful woman whom I turn to when I need a tonic). There are forums available, and these really are a great investment if you know what you need to ask and are willing to contribute in return. During 2013 I was fortunate to win four competitions for my pieces. I only took this up full time following redundancy at the later end of 2013, from a role in social care. Do stop by on Facebook and say hello if you have a moment and have not met me before. I often run competitions and link them with the wonderful people who are active on my page. It would be lovely to hear from you - speak soon
